(ANSA) – Vatican City, June 16 – Pope Francis on Thursday voiced the hope that the restoration of the Nativity Church in Bethlehem and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem would soon be completed. “I hope that, with the generous help of many, the restoration of the Basilica of the Nativity and the niche of the Holy Sepulchre will be completed, also with the contribution of the other Christian communities,” he said at an audience for the Reunion of Aid Agencies For the Eastern Churches (ROACO, in its Italian acronym).
